Practical help and support groups

*Due to Covid -19 our Service is emotional support by telephone only at present, but will go back to face to face emotional and practical support once circumstances allow for it.* The service offers emotional and practical support for people (18+) living alone or who are carers.

Our volunteers can help support people who have recently received a cancer diagnosis and/or are receiving treatment and who live in East Durham and the surrounds.

We offer:

  • Befriending
  • Home visiting
  • Signposting to other services

Peterlee, Horden and surrounds
