We are here as a group to: - offer help, support and information about prostate cancer. Promote patient confidence before, during and after treatment. Provide a full understanding of prostate cancer, its variations and treatments. Provide support and advice to all who are awaiting treatment. Promote an understanding of the advances being made in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Inform and enable discussion of new treatments becoming available as a result of research. Occasional social evenings or events. And of course, the opportunity for you to discuss with other men who have been diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer. Wives and partners are also welcome as they can also support each other. The group is financed by members' subscriptions, £12 per year. Meetings are held at 7pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Philip Farrant Centre, Darent Valley Hospital.
Group supports everybody.
