Practical help and support groups

The Hummingbird Centre provide support for those who are living with cancer or been affected by cancer by offering an array of activities, complementary therapies, counselling, courses, financial guidance, friendship, understanding, we encourage you to take control of your journey rather than the journey control you. At The Hummingbird Centre we have an Holistic Building offering an array of treatments for ladies and gentlemen. Giving guidance for hair and nails, as well as treatments to support the wellbeing, mindfulness of all those affected by cancer. Equine Therapy working with horses. Or you can just pop along for a cuppa and a chat with the sounds of laughter just to take you away from it all for a short while. It does not matter if you are waiting for diagnosis, ongoing treatment, bereavement, loss, trying to get back on track we are here to support and guide all your family, friends and colleagues.

We are asking that our guests be double vaccinated and that they take a Lateral Flow Test before arriving at The Hummingbird Centre. If for any reason you are not able to carry out the test please call ahead and one of our team will carry out the test in one of our outside PODS in full PPE, prior to you entering the building. Ensuring the safety of everyone who uses The Hummingbird Centre.
