Blackpool and Fylde Prostate Cancer Support group

Practical help and support groups

The group meet every second Wednesday of each month in the meeting room at the McMillan Windmill unit at Victoria Hospital. We chat and support each other, with tea and biscuits, and discuss relevant health issues for men with prostate cancer. Though out the year we hold awareness days in public areas to raise public knowledge of prostate cancer and distribute information booklets and leaflets. Our aim is to raise awareness among the male population in Blackpool and the Fylde and help and support those who are experiencing the pre and post prostate cancer journey. The group have speakers throughout the year on all topics that have a bearing or relevance in helping to support prostate cancer patients, spouses, families and carers.
