Go! Gynaecology Oncology Patient Support Group

Practical help and support groups

GO! was established by a group of people with a personal experience of a gynaecological cancer, with the help of the gynaecology oncology nurses at the University Hospital of South Manchester. The objective is to provide a support group for those who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing easy access to information, support and comfort. The support will be sensitive, respectful, person centred. The support group is designed to be non-judgmental and available to everyone in need of support. Each month there will be an informal chat over a cup of tea and a cake There is also time for a private talk with the nurse. You can join in as much or as little as you wish and there is also the opportunity for members to talk with each other.
