St Margaret’s Support Group- Taunton

Practical help and support groups

The Taunton group meets weekly for free & confidential information, advice & support on Thursday's 2-4pm. We support patients with cancer or a life-limiting illness through every stage of their journey as well as their families, friends and carers. Professionally trained volunteers run the informal drop-in support groups that provide an opportunity to talk to someone outside their family and friends who understands the stress and anxiety that a life-limiting illness can bring. We provide free refreshments. We do not offer bereavement support but for information on bereavement services please see St. Margaret’s website. The support group is part of St. Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and is supported by Macmillan.
