Practical help and support groups

The Southmead Bladder Cancer Support Group is open to anyone who has had a bladder cancer diagnosis, irrespective of where they are on their treatment journey. The group also welcomes partners, carers, and friends of the patient. Meetings are usually either free or rely on a small donation to cover basic costs. The group meets on a Thursday evening starting at 6.00pm and lasts until about 7.30pm in the Macmillan Wellbeing Centre, Beaufort House at Southmead Hospital. In 2021 the meeting dates will be the 14th of January, 25th of March, 20th of May, 9th of September and the 25th of November. Meetings will include talks by professionals and social time.
