Head and Neck Cancer Support Group (Leicester)

Practical help and support groups

Our group meets on the second Friday in every month between 2 and 4 pm at Coping with Cancer. Everyone is welcome that has had treatment for head and neck cancer including their family members / friends. The aim of the group is to support patients who have had or are having surgical or oncological treatment for head and neck cancer. The group provides expert patient advice and experience of coping with the often massive functional, social and emotional after effects of treatment which impact on their and their families’ lives. We provide free refreshments. We often have a speaker that attends the group, and we leave time to chat and time for supporting each other. One of the Macmillan professionals endeavors to attend every meeting (CNS, Speech Therapist, Dietitian).
