Facing Cancer Together - Heathfield

Practical help and support groups

Our group started in January 2016 and we meet fortnightly on Tuesdays between 10-12pm at State Hall, Station Road, Heathfield, TN218LD (opposite Tesco Express). There is free parking behind the building. The group is run by a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 2014 age 42. The group is for women with any cancer diagnosis and women who are supporting someone with cancer. We are a friendly lot, all at varying stages. Some going through treatment, some finished treatment recently and some years ago and some with secondary cancer. We would welcome anyone new and hope that by sharing the cancer journey it makes it a bit easier and not so lonely. We serve lovely barista style coffee, tea and homemade cake in a comfortable lounge style environment……and we don’t just talk about cancer, there’s plenty of laughs too! Our Facebook page is ‘Facing Cancer Together Heathfield’ for details of the next meeting.
