Blackburn and East Lancashire Breast Cancer Support Group

Practical help and support groups

Blackburn and East Lancashire breast care support group, for ladies who have been affected by breast cancer. We have speakers, both serious and light-hearted, demos, outings and parties. Most important of all is that there is time for ladies to chat and support one another. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday in the month at The Beardwood Hospital, Preston New Road, Blackburn, BB2 7AE 6.45-8.45pm. The group also offers a weekly keep fit class, known as the Monday Movers, which meets every Monday at St Silas parish centre, Preston New Road, Blackburn, 7-8pm, for light exercise, easy circuits and Tai Chi led by qualified instructors. It is another chance to get together for support, and ladies are at all levels of fitness.
