An ongoing therapy group for people who are affected by a life threatening illness and a 16 week Bereavement Group for people who have been bereaved through physical illness. The groups are run by an experienced group therapist in a safe, confidential setting. Participants can be supported to process the experience of loss, change and grief and offers the opportunity to gain support through being with others with comparable difficulties and also develop ones’ ability to communicate and relate more effectively. This can help reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety. If you are interested in joining, you can meet with the group therapist prior to entry to the group, in order to explore whether one of these groups may be a good way forward for you.
