Practical help and support groups

A group providing support to anyone affected by cancer through befriending, bereavement support, cancer information materials, complementary therapies, information, and a telephone helpline.

Cancer type(s):

Leukaemia, Leukaemia acute lymphoblastic, Leukaemia acute myeloid, Leukaemia chronic lymphocytic, Leukaemia chronic myeloid and Myeloma

The group meet every 2 months between 7.00pm – 9.00 p.m. all are welcome at the meeting and you are invited to bring friends, family and carers who may find it useful. Our support groups are an informal, casual environment where you can feel comfortable with a cup of tea and the chance to talk about whatever you want to, on occasions there will be a medical professional speaking.
