Group supports people affected by cancer by visiting their homes and supporting with practical activities, such as ironing, vacuuming, or smaller tasks such as running errands, to being there and a friendly ear for the referral. Visits are weekly and volunteers are matched up to the request, depending on location and what is required. We review visits after 12 weeks. Team meet six weekly to keep connected and share how the support is going.
