*Due to COVID-19 meetings are temporaily suspended* The Leeds Cancer Support group is there for those who have been affected by cancer such as the person themselves , their carers or family members. It is monthly programme running from April to December and is currently held the 2nd Monday evening of each month from 5.30-7.30. The group is held at The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan centre at St James Hospital in Leeds , with topics being covered from health and wellbeing, carers, financial support, health matter and looking ahead.
The first part of each evening will feature a guest speaker discussing this month’s topic, the second half will give you the opportunity if you wish to break in to groups, chat to others in a similar situation, Speak to staff, share stories and learn from each other. The programme is free of charge and a light buffet is provided.
