Colonaid Worthing is a self-help and support group for local Bowel Cancer patients and their families. It was formed in 2008 by a group of past patients along with staff of the Colorectal Department at Worthing Hospital. As well as offering support and advice to each other, relevant speakers are invited to the meetings. The members also help to raise awareness of bowel cancer by participating in health and wellbeing events and raise funds for appropriate charities. The group meets for coffee at 11.30 am on the first Tuesday of each month in a private room at The John Selden public house in Salvington. Lunch is available afterwards. Further information is available from the Secretary, Andrew Fletcher on 01903-200141 or 07910-539156 or email or see the facebook page at Colonaid Worthing, Bowel Cancer Support Group
