Lyndale was founded in 1983 and is a support group offering support to anyone affect by cancer, their family or carer and friends. Providing one to one support, complementary therapies, beauty therapies, relaxation sessions, group activities, benefits advice, cancer information materials, support from health professionals, a telephone helpline, and transport.

Lyndale is open Monday- Friday from 11am-3.30pm offering support to people affected by cancer, their family and friends. Lyndale offers one to one support, complementary therapies by appointment, relaxation sessions, group activities, craft, art and computer classes, benefits advice once a month by appointment, a breast cancer group on the last Thursday of the month at 7.30-9.30am, a haemotology group meets the first Friday of alternate months at 11.30-1pm. Beauty therapies, ramblers groups, events and outings and a Culture Vulture group visiting places of historical interest also a small choir which meet weekly.
