Practical help and support groups

We are a support group for bladder cancer patients, their partners/carers, and anyone else affected by the disease.

Support provided includes the opportunity to talk to other members about their treatments and experiences. It is often very helpful for a newly diagnosed patient to be able to talk to another patient who has been through the treatment already. There is also the opportunity to put questions to our medical guest speakers and our “resident” Royal Berks Hospital cancer nurse specialist. We currently have around 50 members. We meet at St Andrews Church Hall at the corner of Craven and London Roads, Reading, RG1 5BD, right next to the main hospital entrance.
