The group's aim is to relieve, assist and help any person suffering from any condition that directly or indirectly affects the bladder and in particular those persons who have undergone, or are about to undergo urological surgery for urinary diversion in the area of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Sussex and to improve their quality of life and that of those who care for them. The group offers pre-op, post-op and ongoing support from CRB checked, trained and experienced ex-patients and carers. The group has over 100 members and meets socially four or five times per year, generally at Whiteley Community Centre, Whiteley, Near Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 7LA. Medical company representatives and a stoma nurse are present at the meetings..
