*Due to COVID 19 meetings are currently suspended, however support can be arranged via telephone or email so please do get in touch.* Portsmouth Breast friends are a support group offering friendship, information and support to women suffering with and recovering from breast cancer. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6.30pm till 8pm at the Macmillan Unit in the Queen Alexandra Hospital Cosham. We invite health professionals to update the group with the latest treatments available to manage the effects of treatments. Share experiences with other group members. Those who are well enough might like to give back and raise money, the group members will help you do that. We have outings, offer to pay for complimentary therapies for any member who needs a pick me up, but most of all we offer the forum in which to have a laugh and find yourself again. .
