Practical help and support groups

Our group meets at least 5 times a year with regular contact in between. At least one meeting a year is held at The Royal Marsden in Sutton where we have the opportunity to meet the clinical nurse specialists, surgeons and dieticians. Other meetings are typically held in central London near Victoria Station. Each meeting addresses topics such as:- Therapies to support the healing process - Understanding changes to the anatomy and digestion post surgery- Nutrition and exercise- Food intolerances, improving the way we eat, what we eat and how to cook itWe always leave time to discuss the physical and psychological problems following this radical surgery, radio and chemotherapy and want to ensure no one feels isolatedA leaflet is available with the dates of meetings for the forthcoming year which we are pleased to post or e-mail to anyone who is interested.
