Provides a support centre for people affected by cancer in Hythe and surrounding districts of New Romney, Saltwood, Lyminge, Sandgate and areas along the coast to Folkestone. Provides support through a group meeting every other Friday of the month for 3 hours in the afternoon. The sessions will offer befriending, give information about cancer and speaking to other people going through a similar journey. We have an extensive library of informative books, and are dementia friendly and run dementia and cancer sessions.
Our volunteers are trained qualified and insured to provide support and wellbeing in peoples homes at the end of life journey. Our sessions are light hearted with refreshments. Social activities, music, fun and laughter. We also have health professional speakers of interest to the group.
