*Due to COVID-19 meetings are suspended until March 2021.* We are a patient led Lymphoedema Support Group offering friendship, group support and information for people living with secondary as a result of cancer treatments as well as other trauma related Lymphoedea and primary Lymphoedema. Group meets in The Function Room at the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital King Edward Avenue Herne Bay Kent CT6 6EB and are held on a Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 12.30pm. Bi-monthly in January, March, May, July, September and November. Usually the 4th Saturday of the month (with some exceptions to avoid Easter when in March and the late May bank holiday). Dates are advertised to the group annually and via the bi monthly newsletter following each meeting We invite various speakers to our meetings except January which is a members catch up and talk meeting.

Cancer type(s):

Breast cancer in women, Cervical cancer, Ovarian cancer and Prostate cancer

Group supports: Adults; carers; patients; relatives; men and women.

Catchment area:

Based in East Kent mainly covering Thanet , Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay . Due to lack of other Lymphoedema Support groups we have service users coming from the Ashford, Medway and Maidstone areas.
