Practical help and support groups

Our group of friendly volunteers, run a drop-in morning, every Wednesday between 9am and 11am also Thursday 2pm and 5pm at Salisbury Quakers Meeting House, 51 Wilton Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 7EP. We offer practical and emotional support to anyone who has been affected by cancer, whether it is the patient or their family or carer in Salisbury, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. Our key aim is to create a safe and supportive environment for the community. Some of our volunteers have personal experience of living with cancer. We offer befriending support and complementary therapies including massage therapy, reiki, aromatherapy, reflexology and counselling. We also have a Listening Ear Service 07926 841698 with a dedicated group of trained volunteers who you can talk to one-to-one giving you practical and emotional support by phone.
