CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID=19.The Macmillan Support Centre at Altnagelvin is a drop in service which provides free Information and confidential support to anyone affected by cancer across the Western Trust as well as people attending the North West Cancer Centre for treatment from the Northern Trust and from County Donegal . Our welcoming staff will guide you through our range of information and signpost you to relevant local services. Macmillan Information areas are also located in the North West Cancer Centre, South West Acute Hospital and Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex. Services range from information, clinical psychology, counselling, complementary therapy, benefits advice, wig fitting, prosthesis and a range of group activity programmes such as CLIMB for young people who have a parent/s with a cancer diagnosis. The centre runs in conjunction with Agnes Jones House to provide non clinical programmes for people with long term conditions.
