We are delighted to be working with Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust on running a Breast Cancer Haven service every Thursday from 9.30 to 4.30. The service is available from a brand new state-of-the-art breast unit at The Worcestershire Royal Hospital where our counsellors, therapists and health professionals offer you the support you need to help you with your own personal challenges of living with breast cancer. And above all, there will always be someone to talk to about your deepest fears. Our trained professional nurses, therapists, counsellors and advisers listen to your individual concerns and give you all the practical, emotional and physical support you need in a tailor-made package. Our support is free of charge. The funding that we have received to run this service restricts us to offering a maximum of six supportive therapies for each person and includes: Appointments with a breast care nurse; Emotional support; Supportive therapies; Healthy eating advice; Lymphoedema support. We exist to improve the quality of life for people affected by breast cancer by providing personalised emotional, practical and physical support. We recognise the strength in the women we work with and support their desire to have control over their breast cancer journey. Everyone affected by breast cancer gets the help they need.
