Cancer Support is an independent charity with centres in Bradford & Skipton. We provide practical and emotional support to those affected by a cancer diagnosis. We want to give you the strength and drive to live with, through and beyond a cancer diagnosis providing as much or as little support as you feel you need. At our centres we can help with practical issues like information, transport and welfare rights advice. We also provide emotional support by offering counselling, complementary therapies and a range of classes, courses and support groups. HeadStrong is available to help you feel more confident if you are coping with hair loss and our classes in art offer a welcome diversion for many, these are a great way to meet other people who understand exactly what you are going through. Support groups enable people to learn more about issues that affect them and to chat with others in a similar position. Our team of dedicated volunteer drivers are on hand to take people to cancer related hospital appointments and to use our Centre.
