We are a unique therapy service providing support for people living with cancer, their families and carers in the Bassetlaw area. Aurora clients receive a bespoke care package which includes; beauty treatments and holistic therapies, wellbeing and counselling, support groups, exercise classes and so much more. Through our holistic needs assessment, our experienced Wellbeing Practitioners offer confidential one-to-one emotional support and tailored person-centred care to any cancer patient, at any point in their journey. We offer a range of in-house support services including; Prostate cancer support groups (including partners workshops), women’s survivors support group, nutrition, sleep and fatigue workshops, tai Chi, pilates and yoga classes, mindfulness courses and 1 to 1 coaching.We can also signpost to our Macmillan benefits advisors to provide support on financial and benefit issues. We promote healthy wellbeing and quality of life, and work to improve individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing, from the point of diagnosis, during treatment and beyond.
