If you or anyone you know has been affected by a diagnosis of cancer and have questions about Cancer, then our Macmillan Information Centre can offer you high quality information in a relaxed and comfortable environment within your local community. We are also able to signpost you in the direction of complimentary therapies, support and self-help groups, counselling, lymphoedema clinics, and exercise groups, Our Macmillan information service is an open access service for everyone, with easy access for all user’s in the ground floor setting. Benefits services are available to patients of the Royal Free Hospital only. The information specialist works Mon/Wed/Thurs 10 – 4pm. On all other times, and up until 1pm on a Friday, the centre is manned by our wonderful Volunteers. If you require the support of our Welfare Benefits Team, it is by appointment only Monday -Thursday. However, they do offer a drop-in service Fridays only between the hours of 11am-1pm. The Counselling Services at the RFH accept referrals only for RFH patients and their families. However, we are able to signpost to Maggi’s/Cancerkin; a service offering a range of support systems, including counselling; this service extends to both RFH patients & non-RFH patients.
