When you're affected by cancer, having the right kind of information and support at the right time is essential. The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service provide a confidential, drop-in service for anyone affected by cancer. Information is about all aspects of living with cancer, with access to cancer information materials; counselling; information for families and carers; benefits advice ‘drop in’ once a week, two benefit advice sessions by appointment, self-help & support groups; referral to complementary therapy; signposting to other services; locally approved wig providers; look good feel better events and much more. We also provide outreach services in Crewe Library, Nantwich Library, Sandbach Library and Northwich Infirmary. Referrals and signposting to other agencies such as: ‘Everybody Healthy - cancer rehab programme’ in South and East Cheshire and Look Good Feel Better for ladies and gentlemen.
