The Great Birmingham Run is now established as the second biggest half marathon in the UK, as the city comes alive with thousands of runners pounding the streets as they tick off 13.1 miles, encouraged by on course bands, entertainment and cheering crowds.

How to enter

Secure a charity place!

Join the Macmillan team with a £25 entry fee and you must pledge to raising £250 to support people living with cancer. (excluding gift aid).*

Use your own place

If you have bought a place in the race already and would like to run for Macmillan, click here and we'll get a free Macmillan running top sent to you. There’s no minimum sponsorship either as you have secured your own place, just raise as much as you can!

Why should I join Team Macmillan?

You'll get a free Macmillan technical running top and the best support, plus a welcome pack full of fundraising ideas and training advice and big cheers from our famous race side cheer-points and post-event hospitality.

Most importantly we'll provide you with a reason to keep going, because you'll know that you're helping improve the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
