Benefit advice services

Our service is part of a partnership between North & South Lanarkshire councils, NHS Lanarkshire, Macmillan Cancer Support, Citizens Advice Bureau and The Pension Service. We offer assistance with clients who are seeking benefit advice, money advice, and representation at welfare benefit tribunals, patient grants, Scottish Welfare fund applications, and employment and housing issues. Our service provides home visits, telephone advice, and office appointments in all area housing offices. We offer free, confidential advice for people living with cancer and their families, helping to complete application forms, request mandatory reconsiderations and representation at welfare benefit tribunals. We also provide free, confidential money advice to clients. Our service also provides a Money Matters Advice Service in 5 local Housing Offices within South Lanarkshire Council offering welfare and money advice and representation, Telephone Advice Line for Pregnant Women and Young Families, Central Appeals Team. Offices located in Hamilton, East Kilbride, Lanark, Larkhall, and Cambuslang.

    Monday and Tuesday (08.45-16.45), Wednesday (11.00-16.45), Thursday (08.45-16.45). Friday (08.45-16.15).
