'Here to help, here to listen’, in a relaxed and comfortable non-clinical environment, anyone affected by cancer can use our confidential drop-in service. We are health care professionals and can offer telephone or face-to-face support on information needs, emotional and financial concerns. No appointment needed for one to one support with a health care professionals. We offer a range of services to help you cope with cancer such as programmes of support in groups for patients and carers, welfare advice, legal advice for Wills and lasting power of attorney, complementary therapies, and ‘Look Good Feel Better’ workshops. We have welfare advisors available Monday to Friday on an appointment only system. We provide a free and confidential specialist Welfare Rights service to people living with cancer and to their families. We can advise on a range of issues including benefits and income maximisation and assist with any other related issues you may have, such as housing, debt and employment. We can also help you with form completion, advocacy and representation at tribunals. Our aim is to strive to ensure that people affected by cancer receive the support and help they need. It is a free service to anyone including patients, family, friends, carers, and any health care professionals.
