Benefit advice services

We can assist with maximizing & help you and your family claim the relevant benefits eg Personal Independence Payment and Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance, New Style Contribution Based Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit advice as well as advise relating to help with Housing costs and Council Tax Benefit, Pension Credit, Tax Credits and Bereavement Benefits .We can advise all devolved Scottish Social Security benefits as well as grants etc. including Funeral Support Payment . The Service can also help you to claim Macmillan grants, Scottish Welfare Fund :community care grants. Provide help and advice with fuel costs and access schemes relating to boiler replacement and white goods( limited availability ).W e can help you access local resources and support including aids and adaptations, blue badge information, home help etc. Our Service offers support during illness , to return to work as well as support following bereavement .We offer representation at tribunal hearings in relation to Social Security benefits. Any adult and their family can access this service either directly by calling the contact number or via any health professionals involved. We can visit at home, in the community or in the hospital.
