Benefit advice services

Our service is for anyone living in West Lothian, and for patients attending the Western General Hospital affected by cancer including family and carers. We aim to provide a holistic approach to advice and will not only look at income maximisation through benefits available, but will assist in accessing other services available in West Lothian, including Occupational Therapy, Home Safety Service, travel concessions, money, energy and housing advice. We operate various outreach sessions and we are able to offer a home visiting service for cancer patients living in West Lothian. We operate sessions in the following areas: Western General Hospital, Macmillan Information Point, South Corridor. Every Tuesday & Thursday Drop In Session 10am – 1pm. Ward visits and appointments can be arranged by contacting the team 01506 283000 (option 2). St John’s Hospital, Howden South Road, Livingston. Appointments can be arranged by contacting 01506 283000. Ward visits can be arranged for in-patients by contacting 01506 523531.
