Benefit advice services

We provide free and confidential benefits advice to people living with cancer and their families. We can advise you on a range of issues including what benefits you are eligible for, how to maximise your income, appeals, tax credits, grants, housing costs and transport concessions. Our service is available to people affected by cancer at the diagnosis, treatment or end-of-life stages.

Catchment area:

Advice is available for all those cancer patients, (and their families and carers), who have been recently diagnosed or who are receiving treatment or palliative care, and who live, or are being treated, in the Trust area.

  • Opening times:

    9.00 am - 5.00 pm , Monday to Friday (by appointment only). Appointments are available at the Ulster Hospital , at Lagan Valley Hospital and the Downe Hospital . Telephone appointments are also available.
