Provision of a welfare benefits advice service to those people affected by cancer who live in the Forest of Dean district. Free, confidential welfare benefits advice service for people affected by cancer. Providing advice on entitlements if you cannot work, if you have health problems due to illness or treatment, or have a poor prognosis. Assistance given with: claims for benefits; form filling; appeals; applying for grants (one-off payments for specific needs); referring & signposting to other relevant services.
