London to Brighton Cycle

Take on this iconic 55 mile cycle ride from Clapham Common in South London to the Brighton sea front.

London to Brighton cycle is the perfect inclusive ride, with the route being challenging but achievable for all abilities.

Once out of London, you will predominantly cycle along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with an amazing view. From there it’s all downhill onto the Brighton sea front.

The route is fully signposted with frequent free water stops, mechanical support and a free lunch at the finish line, along with your finishers medal.

Once registered with Team Macmillan, your Macmillan Cycling Team Captains will be on hand to support you every mile of the way as you prepare for event day.

We'll regularly share our top fundraising hints, training tips and the all-important event details, and be the loudest and proudest cheerers on the day ready to welcome you across the finish line in your exclusive Team Green Jersey.
