Be one of the thousands taking to the streets of Sheffield in the Sheffield 10K. With a city centre start and finish, and fantastic feedback from participants, this is not one to miss!
This is a fast flat course, great for participants just starting their running journey or more seasoned athletes aiming for a PB.
Every day in North & East Yorkshire a staggering 26 people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Macmillan offers support with over 280 professionals working in the area, but we couldn’t do that without the support of people in our team.
Help us to make sure no one has to face cancer alone by joining Team Macmillan and turning the streets of Sheffield green.
There are two ways to get yourself signed up for the Sheffield 10K.
Macmillan Charity Place: We would love to have you on the team for this year's Sheffield 10K. To secure your place, click on the 'Get a place' button. There is no registration fee and we ask for a minimum fundraising pledge of £150.
Get your Own Place: Public entry for the 2021 Sheffield 10K is now open at the official race website. If you secure a place then we would love for you to join the team. There is no minimum fundraising target, we just ask you to raise as much as you can for Macmillan.
Whether you have one of our charity places or are using your own place to fundraise for us, you'll be part of Team Macmillan. As part of our team, we'll make sure you have:
And of course... the loudest and most supportive cheerers on the course!
Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
We want to use this amazing event to make a difference. We know cancer can affect everything; your body, your relationships, your money, everything. But we are here to help people live life, no matter what. We give them the support they need to hold on to who they are and what’s important.
But we can’t do it without you. Join Team Macmillan for the Sheffield 10K and we will treat you like the superhero you are from the moment you sign up through to when you cross the finish line. Life with cancer is still a life. Join Team Macmillan and help people live it.
The minimum age for this event is 15 years old.
