Macmillan in Wales is going to the National Eisteddfod in Denbighshire from 3 to 10 August.
We will be at stand 607-608 near the Pavilion throughout the Eisteddfod week at Kilford Farm, Denbighshire. People can visit the stand for information and support relating to cancer, including bilingual and Welsh language flyers and booklets, and to find out more about our work in Wales.
The stand will feature refreshments, Macmillan merchandise and plenty of activities to keep the children entertained including face painting, colouring and a duck pond fishing game with prizes.And popular singer, TV and radio presenter Caryl Parry Jones will launch our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event in Wales at the stand at 2pm on Friday 9 August.
Susan Morris, General Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support in Wales, said: 'Macmillan Cancer Support in Wales is delighted to be returning to the National Eisteddfod this year.
'People can visit our Eisteddfod stand in Denbighshire for free information and support relating to cancer or to simply enjoy a cuppa and a chat with the Macmillan team.
'It is also an opportunity to find out more about our work in Wales as last year we spent £3.2m funding services here including Macmillan nurses, our welfare benefits advisers and providing £545,000 in grants to people affected by cancer.'
