Former Miss Scotland Jennifer Reoch is cheered on by 10-year-old Alix Haggarty from Arrochar as she puts in some training ahead of Adrenaline Rush.
Former Miss Scotland Jennifer Reoch put in some training ahead of a challenging urban assault course, Adrenaline Rush, which took place in Glasgow.
The Riverside Show presenter took part in the Adrenaline Rush event at Pollok Park on July 25th with colleagues from STV Glasgow. The 5km and 10km obstacle race included mud pits, flour bombs and trapezes.
“It will be good fun but also a bit of a challenge,” said Jennifer. “I love Pollok Park so hopefully my surroundings will spur me on.
“Doing it for Macmillan Cancer Support will also give me an extra boost to get around the course. It’s a wonderful charity which helps so many people.”
April Davidson, Macmillan’s Regional Challenge Event Programme Manager for Scotland, said: “Adrenaline Rush is brand new this year and it is set to be a brilliant day out.
“Although fundraising was not compulsory, those taking part also had the opportunity to fundraise to help Macmillan reach more people affected by cancer.”
