Macmillan Race Day at York is the oldest and largest event of its kind in the UK, now in its 46th year, it has raised in excess of £6.5 million to date and a staggering £429,000 last year alone.
On 11th June 2016 over 25,000 racegoers will attend York Racecourse supporting our fundraising in various ways, helping us to change the lives of people affected by cancer.
Raceday features a full card of professional racing alongside charity lunches, auctions, raffles and collections. The highlight of the day being the Best Western Hotels & Macmillan Ride of their Lives which will see 12 amateur riders race on the world famous Knavesmire at York raising thousands of pounds in the process.
