Over 27,000 people in London are currently living with cancer, and the number is growing.
The UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre is the first of its kind in the NHS. It redefines the way cancer patients are treated, using the best diagnostic and treatment techniques to improve survival rates.
What services can I find at the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre?
At its heart is the Macmillan Support and Information Service. A team of skilled Macmillan health professionals and volunteers, from benefits advisors to counsellors and complementary therapists, bringing the highest quality medical, emotional, practical and financial support.

The centre also has an out-patient clinic area, day care and chemotherapy services, day surgery and on site diagnostic services to diagnose and treat cancers and haematological disorders.
You will also find a dedicated young persons’ service providing outpatient care, treatment and consultation for young people with cancer aged from 13 to 24.
From diagnosis and throughout their cancer experience, the centre offers patients the finest treatment by clinicians, including cancer type specialists, and outstanding practical, emotional and financial support.
