Hartlepool Golf Club have chosen to support Macmillan as one of their charities this year.
They have had a great start to their fundraising. The group of fundrasiers here have just completed a coast to coast bike ride from Ravenglass to South Shields, 180 miles over three days in May. They received fantastic support on route, transport was provided by NTE Limited, Bill Duff Light Haulage and Peterlee Community Transport. The great riders were Neal Thornley, Kevin Jones, Joanne Patterson, Heath Hardman, Steve Nicol, Gary Carruthers, Gary Holloway, Ian Evans. With support from Graeme Chapman and Billy Duff.
Liz Airey, Macmillan Fundraising Manager said: 'Sadly the number of people being diagnosed with cancer is increasing every year and that means Macmillan’s support for people living with cancer is in more demand than ever, we are delighted that Hartlepool Golf Club have chosen to support Macmillan as one of their charities in 2017.'
