The Macmillan Welfare Rights Service provides advice, advocacy and information on welfare benefits and entitlements to people affected by cancer, and their dependants , carers who are receiving treatment at North Manchester General Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary or Wythenshawe Hospital. We provide a free and confidential specialist Welfare Rights service to people living with cancer and to their families. We can advise on a range of issues including benefits and income maximisation and accessing charitable sources of support. We can also help you with form completion, advocacy and representation at DWP appeal tribunals. Our aim is to strive to ensure that people affected by cancer receive the support and help they need. We have advisers based at North Manchester General Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary or Wythenshawe Hospital.
