Our partnerships with Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland and Halifax

Macmillan Cancer Support has worked together with Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland and Halifax to develop specialist services offering financial support to their customers affected by cancer.

When you or someone you care for is affected by cancer, it can feel as if your world has been turned upside down. As well as the challenge of the illness itself, you may find that there’s an impact on your finances too. Our research shows that four in five (83%) people with cancer are on average £570 a month worse off as a result of their diagnosis1.

As part of our work to improve the lives of people affected by cancer, we are proud to be working with Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland and Halifax. Each bank has a dedicated Cancer Support Team to help manage their customers’ money worries and planning, providing support at every stage of a cancer journey from diagnosis to after treatment.

The teams can offer specialist, practical support on personal banking, savings, loans, mortgages and credit cards. We have been working closely with each bank to develop and deliver bespoke services for their customers affected by cancer, including providing training to their staff.
