Kiwi was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2012. He struggled with the side effects of his treatment and found useful information from Macmillan booklets. Macmillan also advised him to stay strong with physical exercise. He says: ‘the things that helped me a lot during my darkest times were getting out in nature as well as exercising.’
