The Stories Behind Coffee Morning

Macmillan's patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, ‘raises a cuppa’ in support of Coffee Morning, as famous actors urge the public to get involved.

Under embargo until 21 September 00:01 AM BST

The video message from HRH The Prince of Wales launches a series of short films featuring Sue Johnston, Himesh Patel, Emilia Fox, Cel Spellman and Nina Sosanya, who bring to life the real stories of Macmillan nurses and people living with cancer.

The films illustrate the impact of Macmillan’s vital work and why public donations, which provide 98% of the charity’s income, are needed more than ever this Coffee Morning.

Right now, Macmillan faces losing a third of its fundraising income due to the coronavirus pandemic, and every penny raised by people getting involved will enable us to continue to provide the support that is critical for so many people living with cancer.
