Join some groups

Most of the activity on our Online Community takes place in groups. Groups bring people together to share information and experiences. Once you have joined some groups that are relevant to you, you can respond to an existing discussion, or start a new one to introduce yourself. If you don’t feel ready to post, you’re still very welcome to read and see what other people have to say.

Start a blog

A blog is a bit like a public version of a diary. Each time you want to update, you add a new post to the blog. You don’t need to start a blog to use the Community – but it’s a great way to record your own experience all in one place. Find out more or start your own blog.

Use the chat room

The chatroom is a place where people can type each other messages and get replies back in real time. It’s fast-moving and you can get an instant response from whoever happens to be in there at the time. The chatroom is available 9am-5pm and 7pm-10pm on weekdays, and 10am-1pm and 7pm-10pm at weekends. Visit the chatroom.

Ask the experts

Join nurses, benefits advisers and other experts in our forums for regular scheduled webchats on different topics.
