Male bladder and kidneys - image description

The diagram shows the position of the two kidneys in the male body one on each side. The kidneys are shaped like a bean and are positioned just above the level of the belly button. From each of the kidneys a tube called a ureter leads down to the bladder in the lower part of the tummy. Urine made in the kidneys travels through the ureters to the bladder.  At the base of the bladder is the urethra. The urethra leads to the tip of the penis.
