Our campaign calls
As the All Party Parliamentary Group on Breast Cancer raises the issue of sub-standard care for older women with breast cancer, it’s even clearer that things need to change.
Our Age Old Excuse campaign was all about making this happen. We called for:
- Older people to be offered treatment and care based on their fitness rather than their age.
- Services to be made accessible to meet the needs of older people.
- Staff to be given the time and training needed to provide the best possible care.
